250 jobs to go at Flextronics

Around 250 jobs are to be lost in the Cork facility of Flextronics. The company manufacturers circuit boards and components.

The company has already cut staff in Ireland, last year closing its plant in Tullamore, where it made computer casings, and also closed its plant in Limerick. Around 550 jobs were lost between the two closures.
