The Irish Farmers Association has accused Superquinn of undermining the Irish potato market by selling new season Irish potatoes at below-cost prices.

The IFA said Superquinn's decision to sell potatoes for 59 cents-per-kilogram could threaten the livelihoods of potato growers.
