Rolls Royce, Royal & Sun rejoin Footsie

Engine maker Rolls-Royce and insurer Royal & Sun Alliance were tonight granted a swift return to London’s prestigious FTSE 100 Index.

The pair, which were ejected from the market’s top flight in March, will replace logistics group Hays and outsourcing specialist Capita.
