Xsil recognised by Tornado Insider

Irish company Xsil has been identified as one of the top 25 most promising and innovative emerging European companies by Tornado Insider's selection committee.

Xsil is a provider of laser micro-machine systems for high volume semiconductor manufacturing.

Xsil was the only Irish company to be included in the list. In November 2001, Xsil was the overall winner of the Irish Times PricewaterhouseCoopers National Innovation Awards.

In December 2001, it received ISO 9001-2000 certification. In June 2002, Xsil became the first Irish company to be recognized with the European Semiconductor Wacker/Siltronic New Company of the year award.
