Cable & Wireless is to cut staff at its London headquarters, according to a report in the Financial Times.

Cable & Wireless is to cut staff at its London headquarters, according to a report in the Financial Times.

It is expected that around 200 people will lose their jobs as a result of cost cutting.

The new CEO, Richard Lapthorne, in an effort to make the company profitable, is also said to be considering selling the US division of C&W Globalits data services business which has suffered losses.
