CERT hold workshops on value for money

The tourism training agency CERT is due to hold a number of workshops today to advise restaurant owners on how to provide value for money.

The move is a response to complaints from tourists about the high cost of eating out in Ireland.

A CERT spokesman said the agency was not advising restaurateurs to lower their prices, but rather to offer fixed-price meals with no hidden extras.
