LogicaCMG sign UK technology deal

LogicaCMG has signed a multi-million pound deal with the UK Ministry of Defence to conduct a four-year technology demonstrator programme.

It will investigate and demonstrate a range of communications-related technologies in support of the Future Offensive Air System (FOAS).

The LogicaCMG team will be working on intra-flight data links. The objective of the programme is to reduce technical risks.

LogicaCMG was formed on the merger of Logica and CMG last year.

It has a significant presence in Ireland but made major staff cutbacks here in recent months.
