The Food Safety Authority of Ireland has advised the removal of 10 herbal supplements from sale.

The move follows a request from the EU to survey the level of irradiated herbal supplements on the market.

Ten out of 24 products surveyed were found to be labelled inappropriately.

Deputy CEO Allen Reilly with the Food Authority has said these products to not pose a threat to the public.
