Baltimore/Ernst & Young in strategic partnership

Ernst & Young has announced a strategic partnership with Baltimore Technologies to deliver public-key based security and web access control solutions in Singapore and the Asia Pacific region.

The alliance, led by Ernst & Young Labs for Internet and Security (EYLIS) in Singapore, will leverage Baltimore’s security technology and Ernst & Young’s experience in this area.

EYLIS has already scored a major success and has implemented a complete PKI solution for a government agency in the South East Asia region.

The solution was deployed using Baltimore UniCERT with the Advanced Registration Module (ARM) KeyTools cryptographic toolkits and Hardware Security Module (HSM).

Baltimore’s Asia pacific headquarters are located in Hong Kong and key customers in the region include Hong Kong Post, JETCo and Tradelink in Hong Kong, TaiwanCA, TradeVan and the Legislative Yuan in Taiwan, the Macau government and Chohung Bank and Kica in Korea.
