Sepro appoints new CEO

Dublin company Sepro has announced the appointment of Noreen O'Hare to the role of CEO with immediate effect.

Sepro is a provider of rating and billing solutions to the telecoms, finance and eBusiness industries.

Irish-born Noreen brings twenty years international business experience to her new role, gained at the forefront of the telecoms and billing industries. Noreen joined Sepro in 2001 as Senior Vice President, Global Alliances. In 2002, she also assumed responsibility for Sepro's products and spearheaded the development and delivery of e-Rate to Eurotel Praha, Vodafone Ireland, MobiView, Credit Suisse First Boston and other blue chip companies.

Prior to joining Sepro, Noreen held a number of senior management roles in Logica throughout Europe, including General Manager for all of Logica's activities in Belgium; establishing Logica's International Competence Centre for Customer Care and Billing in The Netherlands and more recently as Director of Global Alliances for Logica Mobile Networks in Ireland.

Noreen takes over as CEO from Desmond Pieri with the unanimous backing of Sepro's board and management team. Desmond Pieri joined Sepro in 2002 as interim CEO on a project basis, as a part of Sepro's growth strategy.

Sepro saw strong growth throughout 2002 when it won and delivered a number of deals through the sale of its e-Rate product.
