SkillSoft to delay filing financial statement
SkillSoft is to delay the filing of its fiscal 2003 financial statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
It is not to include its audited financial statements and other related financial information as part of its annual report for the fiscal year ended January 31, 2003 which is to be filed on May 1.
However, it has indicated that it is to file these statements within 15 days, by May 16 as required.
The delay is the result of the company’s decision to make a further review of accounting matters related to the former Irish company SmartForce PLC, the predecessor entity for accounting purposes in the merger between SmartForce and SkillSoft Corporation.
