Nokia warns of 'uncertain future'
Nokia, the world’s largest mobile phone producer, yesterday warned of an uncertain future outlook and weak sales for the remainder of 2003.
And car rental firm Avis Europe today warned full-year revenues could fall by as much as 10% after weak economic conditions, the war in Iraq and strong competition dampened demand from business travellers.
Meanwhile, supermarket giant Tesco today said it had made progress on a potential deal to extend its international reach to Turkey.
