IBOA serves two weeks' strike notice on BofI
Staff at Bank of Ireland's information technology arm have served two weeks' strike notice on the bank after voting in favour of industrial action.
The Irish Bank Officials Association said 83% of its members in Bank of Ireland ITSIS voted in favour of action up to and including strike action.
The IBOA said the move was designed to prevent the bank from proceeding with any proposed out-sourcing without full negotiation and agreement with the union.
