A strike by Italian air traffic controllers is expected to disrupt Aer Lingus and Ryanair flights to and from Italy today.

A strike by Italian air traffic controllers is expected to disrupt Aer Lingus and Ryanair flights to and from Italy today.

Ryanair said it has cancelled a number of flights to several Italian cities and is expecting delays on other flights.

Aer Lingus said none of its flights between Dublin and Rome are affected, but services to Milan have been rescheduled.

Both airlines have urged passengers to contact their respective information offices.
