EasyJet passenger numbers stay high

Special low-fare offers helped budget airline easyJet to keep passenger levels high last month despite the outbreak of the Iraqi war, it was revealed today.

The airline carried 1.71 million passengers in March – a 32.2% increase on the figure for the same month in 2002.
