Bord Fáilte announces sponsorship details

Bord Failte have announced sponsorship deals to help push Ireland as a premier golf tourism destination.

Details of Bord Failte’s sponsorship were announced today by Mr Chris Kane, Bord Failte at a conference to launch the 2003 AIB Irish Seniors Open.

The 2003 AIB Irish Seniors Open will take place, for the second successive year, at the Adare Manor Hotel and Golf Resort, on May 16th – 18th.

72 players from over 16 countries will compete for a prize fund of €310,000,

Bord Failte also sponsors the Ladies Irish Open in Killarney on June 13 to 15, the Smurfit European

Open at the K Club, Co. Kildare on July 3 to 6 and the Nissan Irish Open in Portmarnock on July 24 to 27.
