War uncertainty leads to FTSE shortfall
London’s leading shares endured a session of uncertainty today as dealers remained concerned about the potential for a protracted conflict in Iraq.
Amid low volumes, the benchmark FTSE 100 Index stuck near to its opening mark, drifting down 20.6 points at 3708.5 by the close.
