Aga fired up after profits lift

Kitchen equipment group Aga Foodservice said today it was well positioned for 2003 despite market uncertainty, after posting a 9% rise in pre-tax profits.

The Birmingham-based group, makers of the cooker favoured by celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, said trading in the year so far had been “satisfactory”.
