Mobile operator, Orange has beat analysts’ expectations by announcing revenues of €5.1bn for the year, a 51% increase from last year.

Mobile operator, Orange has beat analysts’ expectations by announcing revenues of €5.1bn for the year, a 51% increase from last year.

According to the company, ARPU (average revenue per customer) rose by 6%.

However, Orange took a charge of €5.17bn to cover write-downs on its Dutch and Italian business, resulting in an overall loss of €4.54bn for the period.
