Xilinx open new Dublin facility

Xilinx has opened a new €52 million facility in Dublin and designated Ireland as its European headquarters.

Xilinx designs semiconductor chips for the electronics and communications industries.

Xilinx currently employs 340 in Ireland but it confirmed that it was planning to expand its workforce and it is anticipated that it will reach 500 in the next couple of years.
