The Shorts aerospace company has announced that 1,200 Belfast workers may be laid off this year as part of a worldwide restructuring scheme.

Shorts' Canadian owners, Bombardier Aerospace, said it plans to shed 3,000 jobs in Canada and the North because of "challenging market conditions".
