The Advertising Standards Authority has upheld a complaint against Aer Lingus relating to the misleading advertisement of fares.

The Ireland Tour Operators' Federation (ITOF) lodged the complaint about a fares promotion for return flights that only mentioned the cost of a one-way trip.
