Prospect of war 'has damaged world economy'
The European Union today issued a stern warning to a gathering of top financial officials, saying uncertainty over war in Iraq has damaged the world economy.
Greek Finance Minister Nikos Christodoulakis said the finance meeting of the world’s largest industrialised countries, including Britain, was taking place amid “growing concern over the possible impact of international development.”
