Plans are underway to cut ferry crossing times between Northern Ireland and Scotland by 30%.

The HSS journey from Belfast to Stranraer is to take 80 minutes when new terminals are built. Stena Line is spending more than €100m on relocating closer to the mouth of Belfast port and 80 miles down Loch Ryan on the Scottish side.
