Propylon wins Digital Media Award
Irish software company Propylon was a winner at the Digital Media Awards on Thursday last. Propylon was nominated and won the Digital Media Award under the category of "Digital Media Innovation- Professional".
The judges were looking for an advance or innovation in products associated with the production and distribution of digital media contents. This award was also looking for an innovative tool that enhances the work practice of digital media professionals.
Propylon entered the category showcasing their innovative Pervasive Portal Server, Mission Control.
Mission Control server has been designed to conquer the complexities of the pervasive portal space, making it easy for companies to rapidly deploy and flexibly manage information and content, enabling it to be accessed from a multitude of Internet capable devices including desktop browsers, WAP phones, pocket PC’s, iMode, smartphones, Web TV, Voice Browsers and PDA’s.
It automatically renders the presentation format, appropriate to that device.
In addition to wining the Digital Media Award, Propylon were also nominated for the Grand Prix award.
