Marrackech is to shed 30 jobs, in an effort to cut costs.

Following the job cuts the company will employ 75 people. Marrakech has raised in total $56m (€57m) in funding since it was set up in 1998.

Investors included Doughty Hanson Technology Venutres, AMT Sybex, Cross Atlantic Capital Partners and Gartmore Group. headquartered Dublin, Ireland with additional offices in London, Boston and Mexico City.

Marrakech launched its online trading platform, connecting commerce worldwide in September, 2002. Customers include Jefferson Smurfit and EDS Ireland.
