Dermot O'Donoghue to chair Delta Index

Dermot O'Donoghue has been appointed non-executive chairman of Delta Index, a new specialist financial spread betting company.

Mr O'Donoghue was formerly general manager of treasury and international banking at AIB Group.

Delta Index allows people to bet on the movement (up or down) of shares, stock market indices or currencies.

Mr O'Donoghue, who is a member of the Institute of Bankers in Ireland, is an MSc graduate in Management from Trinity College Dublin.
