Ikea founder worried about 'too fast expansion'
The founder of Swedish furniture giant Ikea, which operates 11 stores in the UK and delivers to Northern Ireland, said today that he was worried the company is expanding too fast.
Ingvar Kamprad, 76, told Swedish daily newspaper Smaalandsposten that although he used to champion quick expansion, he has become increasingly concerned that he might have to close stores during an economic downturn.
