FTSE wobbles under Cable and Wireless pressure
The FTSE 100 Index started the week in a lacklustre fashion today, despite a hefty plunge from Cable & Wireless dominating the session.
The battered telecoms group plummeted 43% as investors reacted angrily to the prospect of a potential ÂŁ1.5 billion liability following a debt downgrade.
