Iona and HP win top award

Iona and Hewlett-Packard have received the top accolade for 'Most Effective Alliance' at the 2002 Nabarro Nathanson technology industry awards event held in London.

Law firm Nabarro Nathanson staged the awards in association with Infoconomist magazine at a gala awards ceremony in the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre in Reading, UK on November 19.

Fergal McDonnell, director of Alliances, Iona Technologies and Simon Carney, director of ISV programme, HP Enterprise Solutions Partners accepted the award, which recognised both companies' successful alliance strategy in driving business opportunities in the area of Web Services Integration.
