Australian shares close little changed

Share prices closed little changed after rangebound trade with gains in News Corp and Brambles mostly offset by losses in resources and some banks going ex-dividend, dealers said.

The S&P/ASX 200 closed up 5.5 points or 0.18% at 3,041.3, off a high of 3,044.4 and a low of 3,015.2, while the All Ordinaries was up 5.5 points at 3,004.9.
