Branson airline profits 'up by half'

Richard Branson’s Brussels-based airline Virgin Express today said it had increased profits in the last quarter by more than 50%.

The group, which flies to 13 European cities out of Brussels, said pre-tax profits for the three months to September 30 came in at €4.6m against €3m the same period last year.
