Pfizer to comply with EU 'stop the clock' probe of merger

Pfizer has said it proposed partner Pharmacia will supply additional information about their planned merger to the European Commission, which earlier said it stopped the clock on its probe of the deal to gather additional facts.

In a statement Pfizer said: "Pfizer and Pharmacia have been requested to supply additional information, which the parties expect to provide shortly."
