Knock airport appoints acting chief executive

The new board at Knock International airport in Co Mayo has appointed Mr Liam Scollan as its acting chief executive.

Mr Scollan was hired in June of this year as development consultant at the airport.

Mr Scollan did emphasise however that his appointment was a temporary one.

Scollan said: "I will try my best to put in place the ideas, the people and management teams and the investments that are needed to transform the airport's image and potential."
