Bank of Ireland to join health market

The Bank of Ireland is considering the possibility of entering the health insurance market.

It is reported that a team has already been put in place and is headed up by the former VHI Executive, Donal Collins.

It is understood that a health insurance package will be on offer to existing clients who are large employers ruling out competition with rivals, VHI and BUPA.
