Quantas says Air New Zealand negotiations 'fruitful'

Australian airline Qantas today said negotiations on a partnership which would see it acquire up to 25% of Air New Zealand were "fruitful".

The airline's chief executive Geoff Dixon made the comments but did not say whether any deal would take place in the near future.
