Nortel Networks wins Cork contract

Canadian telecommunications equipment maker, Nortel Networks is to supply Cork-based National Software Centre (NSC) with its IP Telephony Solution.

The new solution is based on Nortel's end-to-end enterprise portfolio and has wireless LAN capabilities while providing a 24/7 access to employees from anywhere.

The entire solution was developed in conjunction with Eircom Business Systems and LAN Communications.

NSC is a campus set up to host and support new start up ventures, providing all the technology requirements from one central location.
