Competition Authority monitoring farmers' pickets

The Competition Authority has said it is continuing to monitor farmers' pickets at meat factories throughout the country.

Last night, the farmers began picketing plants in Ballaghadereen, Cahir, Clonee, Grannagh and Nenagh in protest at the low prices being paid for cattle.
