Sri Lanka company chooses Network 365

Celltel Lanka has chosen mzone avatar to enable its users to make payments for goods and services with SMS.

The first of the kind in the region, the CellWallet provides encrypted electronic storage for information pertaining to a user's credit cards, debit cards, bank accounts and other personal data.

It allows the user to issue payment instructions from his or her mobile phone, without having to transmit such sensitive data over the air for each transaction.

Celltel has also chosen mzone SMS Banking Server, a mobile banking solution which enables subscribers to execute basic bank account operations anytime, anywhere over their mobile device.

This solution was jointly developed by Network 365 and hSenid, a software development partner in Sri Lanka.
