BT Group, BSkyB launch cut price broadband offer for Sky Digital customers

BT Group PLC and British Sky Broadcasting Group PLC said they have launched a cut price BT Broadband offer to Sky Digital customers in the UK.

The deal gives new and existing subscribers to Sky Digital's Sky World package £80 (€127) off the price of equipment for BT Broadband, BT's new direct-access internet product.

The new agreement will play a key role in helping BT Retail achieve its target for BT Broadband connections by summer 2003, said the two companies in a joint statement.

Under an existing deal, BT residential customers get discounted deals on Sky Digital.
