Open Business Solutions launch MAPICS in Ireland

Open Business Solutions, a leading supplier of integrated supply chain management and extended enterprise solutions, launched MAPICS in Ireland on 9 October 2002 and also announced an increase in its existing investment in Ireland.

The Irish customer base of MAPICS includes a mixture of multinational companies and smaller Irish manufacturing companies such as Munster Simms. Currently MAPICS is available on IMB iSeries platforms [the former IBM AS/400 platform], for the more 'heavy' manufacturing business applications.

It is now also available on Microsoft NT for 'lighter' manufacturing business applications. Additional surrounding applications including CRM SCM and business intelligence.
