Logica completes solution for Meteor

Logica has completed a billing solution for Irish mobile network operator Meteor.

The solution is designed to allow Meteor to carry out real time billing of its Short Messaging Service customers.

Meteor will use this solution to verify that individual pre-paid customers have sufficient credit to pay for text messaging before allowing messages to be sent.

It also gives the operator the capacity to charge pre-paid subscriber accounts in real time.

The solution is also aimed at facilitating the development of m-commerce amongst the operator's customer base.

It will allow Meteor to charge customers in real time for mobile transaction or purchases.
