Am-Beo announces real-time Rating Bench

Am-Beo has released the results of a benchmark conducted recently on its rating and settlements software, rate-recTM. The results show a real time transaction processing performance of 10.3 million records per CPU per hour. Am-Beo says that these figures significantly exceed existing published figures for the industry.

The tests were carried out at SUN's performance benchmarking centre, and modelled a realistic deployment scenario, using two servers, one hosting the rating application and the other hosting the services application.

Galway company Am-Beo is a provider of real-time rating and revenue settlement solutions for the communications and next generation services industry. The company also provides Roam Manager for inter-carrier roaming on GSM and GPRS networks.

Outside Ireland, Am-Beo has offices in the US, Spain and France. The company plans to implement an extensive global marketing effort and it recently appointed Laura Reed as Vice President of International Marketing. Previously she was vice president of marketing for Jones Cyber Solutions.
