BA was close to 'meltdown' after attacks
British Airways was close to “meltdown” in the wake of September 11 and a war in Iraq would be a “major issue” for the company, its chief executive warned today.
Rod Eddington said he remained confident that the airline would remain a “robust” business despite the threat of falling out of the FTSE 100 index.
