Irish-owned banana giant Fyffes showed it was ready to grow once more today after reaping the benefits of a cost-cutting drive.

Irish-owned banana giant Fyffes showed it was ready to grow once more today after reaping the benefits of a cost-cutting drive.

Chief executive David McCann said the group was on the acquisition trail and was setting its sights Europe.
