UK firm buys SSI computer group

Irish computer firm, SSI computer group was acquired by UK company, Morse plc for €4.7m.

Based on the deal, which was documented in Morse's full year results, the company could pay up to an additional €4.8m based on the newly acquired company's performance.

SSI Group employed 35 people across its offices in Dublin and Cork, and specialised as a systems integrator to the public and private sector.

The company reported revenues of €12.7m for the previous fiscal year and recorded profits of around €0.5m.
