Openet names new executive

Openet has named Mr Tony Melvin as its new vice president of professional services.

Mr Melvin's main responsibility will be to help the company enhance it services and support in the implementation of its solutions.

He has held various senior management roles in companies such as Kenan Systems, Lucent Technologies and CSG Systems before joining Openet,

Commenting on the appointment, CEO John Raigner said: "Tony brings extensive experience of the billing and customer care world to Openet. His ability to build high-value teams will bring significant benefits, not just to Openet Telecom, but to our customer base as well."

Openet Telecom was established in 1999 and provides mediation solutions to telecommunication operators.
