Hewlett-Packard Consulting, the newly formed professional services company formed from the recently merged HP and Compaq has announced that it has signed a multi-million dollar deal with software giant Microsoft.

Hewlett-Packard Consulting, the newly formed professional services company formed from the recently merged HP and Compaq has announced that it has signed a multi-million dollar deal with software giant Microsoft.

HP Services will now provide Microsoft with consulting services, system integration and customer service support.

HP recently announced the formation of the new company which is expected to provide up to 4% of its future revenues. Microsoft is now one of the company's largest clients.

It is expected that the contract would be managed out of the European headquarters located in Dublin.
