The group, which represents Ireland’s Small and Medium sized companies, says business confidence is nose-diving.

The warning is contained in ISME’s Autumn business trends survey, which has found employment prospects are at their worst in nearly 10 years. It is calling on the Government to clamp down on public expenditure and wage rises.
