NTL Ireland appoints new MD

NTL Ireland has named Graham Sutherland as its new MD, following the resignation of its former MD, Brian Moore, last month.

Mr Sutherland currently heads the company's celtic division of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Before joining NTL, he worked as a Financial Director with Bombardier Business Jet Solutions and as a Managing Director of Maydown Precision Engineering.

Mr Sutherland will take up his new appointment on the September 2.

In the meantime, the company will continue to be led by Mr Liam Duggan, the interim MD.

NTL is currently under severe pressure to be more competitive and Mr Sutherland faces a challenging task.
